The following slate has been prepared by the Nominating Committee of the Alumnae Association.
Note: Additional nominations may be submitted by written petition signed by at least 100 voting members, no more than 30 percent of whom shall be from the same class or from the same club area. This petition must be received by the Alumnae Association’s executive director no later than May 10 (10 days before the Annual Meeting, at which the election will be held). Nominations by petition shall include the written consent of the nominee to serve if elected.

Fatima Ezzat Penrose ’85, Wayland, MA. An International Relations major, Fatima earned an MBA from Northwestern Univ. in 1990. She is Vice President, Human Resources, at Wellington Management Co. in Boston. Previously, Fatima worked at Fidelity Investments for ten years in a variety of Human Resource roles. She is currently her class co-vice-president and has served as Nominating Committee Chair, Class Agent, and Reunion Gift Caller. Fatima also served the Alumnae Association as a Director at Large and Task Force member. In addition, Fatima is a member of The Boston Club and a member of the Executive Council for the Susan F. Smith Center for Women’s Cancers at Dana Farber.
Joan Ford Mongeau ’80, Melrose, MA. An American Studies major, Joan earned an MBA from Boston College in 1986. She is the Executive Director of the Melrose (MA) Chamber of Commerce. She is currently her class President and has served her class in many positions including Nominating Committee member, Head Class Agent, and Reunion Gift Caller. She served Advancement as a member of the Development Committee and Annual Fund Committee. She has also served as President and program chair of the Mount Holyoke Club of the North Shore (MA).
Melissa Anderson Russell ’01. Sandwich, MA. A Psychology and Education major, Melissa earned a M.A. in Education from Lesley Univ. in 2005. Currently the Manager of Visitor Experience at Heritage Museums and Gardens, Melissa previously worked as an elementary school teacher. She continues to be her class Treasurer, a post she has held since college, and has served as Reunion/Hospitality Chair, Class Agent, and Reunion Gift Caller. She is the President of the Mount Holyoke Club of Cape Cod (MA) and has served as the Membership Chair.
