Naina Subberwal Batra ’92

Naina Subberwal Batra headshotNaina Subberwal Batra is the CEO of the Asian Venture Philanthropy Network, a nonprofit membership association of organizations interested in or currently practicing venture philanthropy in Asia.

Batra’s more than twenty years experience includes being part of the senior leadership team at Monitor Inclusive Markets, a mission-driven consulting unit of the Monitor Group aimed at catalyzing market based solutions for social change. In addition, she has worked in organizations such as KPMG and Citibank. Batra was also partner and cofounder of Group Fifty Private Ltd, curating contemporary Indian art with a view to providing a medium for upcoming and established Indian artists to showcase their work directly to a large and diverse audience.

Batra holds a master’s degree in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University, where she graduated at the top of her class. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and international relations from Mount Holyoke College and a general course diploma in economics from the London School of Economics.
