Volunteer Conference 2017
Cosponsored by the Alumnae Association and The Mount Holyoke Fund, the conference brings reunion chairs and class presidents together with Mount Holyoke Fund volunteers to gain training in their discipline, collaborate with each other, and gain timely insight into the current environment at Mount Holyoke. Volunteers will leave with the education, information, contacts, and skills needed to move forward in their respective roles. This series of workshops brings reunion chairs and class presidents together with Mount Holyoke Fund volunteers for collaborative breakout sessions, with essential workshops held throughout the weekend.
All volunteers who attend will have the opportunity to:
- Receive the tools and information needed to succeed in their roles
- Network and brainstorm with other alumnae, volunteers, faculty, staff, and students
- Learn more about current initiatives and updates from Mount Holyoke senior leadership
Volunteer programming begins on Saturday, September 16 at 8:00 a.m. and concludes with lunch on Sunday, September 17.
Optional campus tours will be available on Friday, September 15.

Mount Holyoke Fund Volunteers
The Mount Holyoke Fund invites all head class agents, class agents, and Cornerstone chairs from the classes of 1955 through 2017 and FPs (excluding fiftieth-reunion cycle volunteers) to the Volunteer Conference.
General Volunteer Reimbursement:
|The Mount Holyoke Fund will cover the cost of lodging and group meals on campus and will reimburse volunteers for travel expenses up to a maximum of $250, with a $25 minimum policy for reimbursement.*||The Mount Holyoke Fund will cover the cost of lodging and group meals on campus and will reimburse volunteers for travel expenses up to a maximum of $400, with a $25 minimum policy for reimbursement.*|
*Please note that we do not reimburse for frequent flyer miles used. Nor do we reimburse for food, meals, or supplies purchased during travel. You will be provided with a reimbursement form in your registration packet when you arrive on campus in September.
Reunion Planners & Class Presidents
The Alumnae Association invites class presidents and up to two reunion chairs from classes ending in three and eight, plus the class of 2016, to attend the Volunteer Conference. The Alumnae Association will cover the cost of lodging and group meals on campus and will reimburse volunteers for travel expenses. If these officers cannot attend, please submit an alternative to Janet Glick, director of classes and reunion, by September 2, 2017. Other members of your class board are welcome, but their travel and housing expenses must be covered by the class or the individual volunteer. Overnight accommodations for these additional class board members will be billed to your class treasury, so please inform your treasurer.
Registration & Accommodations
The College and the Alumnae Association have blocked rooms at local hotels and will cover the cost of your accommodations in double occupancy rooms for Friday and Saturday evening. Please make sure to indicate your accommodation needs when you register. We will share specific hotel information in early September.
