Giving to the Association

Founder’s Fund

Our relationship with Mount Holyoke College may appear seamless to you—and it should—but the Alumnae Association was Mary Lyon’s model for ensuring active and committed alumnae who are fully involved in the life and work of the College. Independent from the College, the Association relies on financial contributions from alumnae.

The Founder’s Fund—the Association’s endowment—began in 1901 as the Income Fund. Over the decades, Founder’s Fund money has paid for such projects as the construction of the Student-Alumnae Building (Mary E. Woolley Hall), and an interview room in the College’s Career Development Center.

Your gift to the Founder’s Fund will help the independent Association work for the best interests of the College and its alumnae. Thank you in advance for your generous support.

Your gift is fully tax-deductible.
