Mount Holyoke College student newspaper collection

The Mount Holyoke College student newspaper collection provides access to a wide range of newspapers published by Mount Holyoke students from 1891 to the present. The publications feature campus news, political opinions, literary works and criticisms, and advertisements; overall, they provide an excellent overview of ideas, issues, and events happening on- and off-campus throughout Mount Holyoke's history. Issues from June 1891 through April 2017 have been digitized. 

The title of the student paper has changed through time:

• The Mount Holyoke was published from June 1891 to June 1917.
• The Mount Holyoke News was published from October 1917 through February 1968.
• choragos was published from March 1968 through December 1982.
• The Mount Holyoke News was published from February 1983 to the present.
