SUMMARY:Seven College Conference Annual Lunch (London)
DESCRIPTION:You are warmly invited to a conference with guest speaker\, Baroness Julia Neuberger\, who will talk about her work on aging\, end-of-life care\, and how we think about leaving a legacy. Baroness Neuberger’s book\, Not Dead Yet—A Manifesto for Old Age and Is That All There Is?\, will be on sale at the lunch\, so please bring cash or cheques as we cannot take credit cards. We gather at noon and Baroness Neuberger will speak at 12:30. Lunch follows at 1:15 p.m. with two courses and coffee for £30.00. Profits from the event will support our new travel/research grant awarded to two students per year from our colleges who are on a junior year abroad programme in the UK. \nPlease make checks payable to The Seven College Conference of London and post checks with the attached form included: Minh-Tam Janssens\, 13 Castelnau Mansions\, Castelnau\, London SW13 9QX or email Minh-Tam. DESCRIPTION:Please join the MHC Club of New York City for their Annual Meeting. The Annual Meeting is an opportunity to recap the past year\, vote in next year’s board of directors\, and celebrate our NYC alumnae. Wine\, beer\, soft drinks\, and light hors d’oeuvres will be served. \nOur guest speaker this year will be Marcia Brumit Kropf ’67\, incoming Alumnae Association president. \nA note on cost: the event is free with current (2013–2014) Mount Holyoke Club of New York membership or payment of 2013–2014 membership dues. Payment will be accepted on-site.
