DESCRIPTION:The Vassar Club of DC has invited MHC-DC to join them for a day of service at Capital Area Food Bank on Saturday July 18\, from1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The food bank is located at 4900 Puerto Rico Avenue\, NE\, Washington\, DC 20017 – slightly less than a mile and a half from the Brookland/CUA metro stop. Volunteers can arrange shuttle pick up by calling 202-905-4260. Because temperatures can fluctuate in the donation rooms and repack rooms\, the CAFB asks that volunteers dress for the weather and wear closed-toe shoes.\nRegistration is required: http://vassarcares-cafb.eventbrite.com
