DESCRIPTION:You are welcome to join Mount Holyoke Club of Cincinnati for an Art Museum Day to see the exhibition “Transcending Reality: The Woodcuts of Kosaka Gajin” at Cincinnati Art Museum. \nJoined by Mary Baskett\, former Cincinnati Art Museum Curator of Prints and expert on modern Japanese art prints\, you will take a walk through the the Cincinnati Art Museum’s Howard and Caroline Porter Collection\, the largest repository of the woodcuts of Kosaka Gajin outside the family in Tokyo\, Japan. \nYou can either meet the group for lunch at 12:30 p.m. at the CAM Cafe\, or only for the tour at 2:00 p.m. at the entrance to the exhibition on the 2nd floor. \nPlease RSVP with Ruth Anne Wolfe.
