DESCRIPTION:The Mount Holyoke Club of Austin will be meeting Thursday\, April 20th at 6:30 p.m. at the Blanton Museum for its first exhibit of the Contemporary Project\, which features artist Susan Philipsz’s multimedia piece Part File Score. \nFor those who may be interested\, there will be a concert from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the museum featuring new music selected to go along with the Blanton’s collection of contemporary art \, presented by composer and multi-instrumentalist Peter Stopschinski. \nPlease come meet the club for an evening at the museum. DESCRIPTION:Join the Mount Holyoke Club of Peninsula Club members on Friday\, April 28 for the 8:00 p.m. Menlowe Ballet spring show FLORAISON! \nArtistic Director Michael Lowe has invited longtime company dancers\, Stefanie Maughan and Ali McKeon to make their professional choreographic debut by collaborating on a new contemporary work. Lowe too will collaborate\, by choreographing alongside Associate Artistic Director Sarah-Jane Measor on a neoclassical ballet to the music of Philip Glass. \nTickets ($45 adults\, $35 youth/senior)\, to the Friday\, April 28\, 8pm show are being reserved for Mount Holyoke College alumnae and guests by executive director\, Lisa Piniella Shiveley ’88.
