DESCRIPTION:Save the Date: Thursday\, October 15\, for a Potluck Dinner and discussion of the 2015-2016 Mount Holyoke “Common Read” Americanah at Judy Hannon’s home in Penfield. The book is by the prize-winning Nigerian author\, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichi\, and deals with the racial and immigrant concerns of two young Nigerians: the woman who comes to the United States for education; and the man who winds up in Britain. The counterpoint of their respective experiences should intrigue anyone who knows either country. \nIf you can come please RSVP by Tuesday\, October 13\, and please also indicate what dish you plan to bring\, so that we can try to coordinate the menu.
