Happy New Year!
Dozens of students lined up outside of the Alumnae Association on December 10, the last day of classes, to film this video wishing Mount Holyoke alumnae a Happy New Year. The film set was part of Mount Holyoke’s annual “No Study Zone” event, during which students are encouraged to take a break from studying to play and relax in Chapin Auditorium for an evening. Different activities have included inflatable bouncy houses and jousting rings, hula hoops, dancing, crafts, karaoke, board games, massages, poker tables, make-your-own aromatherapy, finger painting, and the ever-popular “screamerator” (aka the elevator, which students ride while getting their frustration out by screaming at the top of their lungs).

I LOVED this! Gosh, I miss MHC!
This is exactly how I (still) feel on the last day of classes at the community college where I teach.
Super!! Happy New Year!!
Loved it! Thank you MHC students for taking the time to put this together.
What a hoot! Thanks for thinking of the alums, which you all will one day be :<) — such FUN ways to keep us all connected! The happiest of New Years back to all of you — and especially the 2014 grads!
