The Mount Holyoke Fund
When you make a gift to The Mount Holyoke Fund, you join thousands of other alumnae in supporting the next generation of changemakers. Together, your gifts quite literally are making a Mount Holyoke education possible for our students. Mount Holyoke women look forward and give back.
Founder’s Fund at the Alumnae Association
The Founder’s Fund is more than 100 years old, originally created in 1901 as the Income Fund to support the mission of the Alumnae Association. The fund is invested with the Mount Holyoke College endowment and may be used by the Alumnae Association board of directors at its discretion. In accordance with the board’s policy, the fund has been used to support strategic initiatives that constitute one-time expenditures to further the mission of the Alumnae Association, and not for recurring or annual operating expenses. The fund also supports the Mary E. Woolley Fellowship, awarded to an alumna annually. Most recently a distribution from the fund supported the Powered by Mount Holyoke marketing campaign and a number of the actions recommended by the Commission on the Relationship between the College and the Association, including the data management and governance project and the development of the new portal for active volunteers.
Your gift to the Founder’s Fund helps us support the activities of alumnae around the world. Make your gift to the Founder’s Fund now.
