Margarita Forés ’80
Margarita Forés ’80, recently named Asia’s Best Female Chef 2016, has been running a successful culinary empire in the Philippines, which includes Cibo, her Italian restaurant chain; Lusso, a champagne bar serving refined comfort food; Grace Park, a restaurant that celebrates farm-to-table cuisine; and the Ascott Bonifacio Global City, where she runs the hotel’s entire food and beverage operations. Such has been the extent, impact, and influence of Forés on the food landscape of her country, most especially in the promotion of homegrown ingredients and local farmers. And she continues to make things more exciting as she executes many more delicious ideas to the best of her abilities.
