Club of New York City ‘Back to School’ Brunch (New York, New York)

Join us for this year’s “Back to School Brunch” with a twist! Enjoy a continental buffet brunch, followed by a matinee performance of The Death of the Last Black Man in the Whole Entire World AKA the Negro Book of the Dead, a riotous play by the renowned playwright Suzan-Lori Parks ’85 that explores and explodes archetypes of black America with piercing insight and raucous comedy.

This production is the first in Parks’ Signature Residency One, a groundbreaking program that explores a series of plays from the body of work of one writer, providing in-depth insight into an individual artist.
