Club of NY Film Screening of “Sembene!” with President Pasquerella (NYC)

Join President Lynn Pasquerella ’80, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of Faculty Sonya Stephens, and President of the Alumnae Association Marcia Brumit Kropf ’67 for Sembene!, a documentary by Mount Holyoke Professor of French Samba Gadjigo and his artistic partner, Jason Silverman. The film tells the remarkable story of Ousmane Sembene, the father of African cinema, and was selected for the Sundance, Cannes and Sydney film festivals.
Q&A with Professor Gadjigo will follow the screening.
