Club of Washington, DC, J-Term Class: Mastering the Confidence Code (Bethesda, MD)

We all know confidence when we see it. Women in today’s workplace at all levels are striving to increase their level of confidence—whether as interns in a new organizations or senior partners at a law firm.

Based upon research in the field, Wendy Swire ’85 will outline the top strategies to understand what causes the confidence gap for women. She will draw upon the work of journalists Shipman and Kay as well as new information from the field of neuroscience. The new art and science of understanding confidence will help Mount Holyoke alums and interns in all fields and roles.
