Genesee Valley Informal Group Potluck Dinner (Penfield, NY)

Save the Date: Thursday, October 15, for a Potluck Dinner and discussion of the 2015-2016 Mount Holyoke “Common Read” Americanah at Judy Hannon’s home in Penfield. The book is by the prize-winning Nigerian author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichi, and deals with the racial and immigrant concerns of two young Nigerians: the woman who comes to the United States for education; and the man who winds up in Britain. The counterpoint of their respective experiences should intrigue anyone who knows either country.
