MHC Moment: November 2014

On the evening of November 11, 2014, seniors rounded up firsties and ushered them to the atrium of Kendade. There, the firsties were taught the Anti-Alma Mater, after which they all processed to President Pasquerella’s house to serenade her. President Pasquerella then invited them in for food and merriment.

Would love to see the words! Is it printed anywhere?

I wonder whether the ‘Anti-Alma Mater’ mentioned is what we learned freshman year (1963)? It began “Oh Mount Holyoke, we pay thee tuition, with the fervor of youth that’s gone wrong. Each year it goes higher and higher…”?

Rosamond, I can tell you that the Anti-Alma Mater you mention is the one we used in my Dis-O in 2001! My guess is that it’s the same one now. 🙂
