Robin McLean ’87 Author Reading (Seattle, WA)

Robin McLean ’87, author of the award-winning short story collection,Reptile House–and one of 4 Mount Holyoke sisters, (’85, ’87, ’88, ’93) all who followed their MHC mom (’59) — will be at Elliott Bay Books on Friday, July 10 at 7 pm for a reading and book signing. Please join the MHC Club of Puget Sound Writing Group to enjoy her talent and support an alumna!

After South Hadley, Robin was a lawyer and then a potter for 15 years in the woods of Alaska before receiving her MFA at UMass Amherst. Reptile House won the 2013 BOA Editions Fiction Prize. The collection was a finalist for the Flannery O’Connor Short Story Prize in 2011 and 2012.
