HOUSING

What overnight accommodations are available?

Review our housing information page for options.

Can on-campus housing be reserved without registering for Reunion?

Housing for Reunion is available with the purchase of a package registration.

Will I be able stay near my friends?

If you are planning to attend Reunion we strongly recommend registering by April 15 to guarantee a bed on campus.

Rooming requests cannot be guaranteed, but we will do our best to accommodate all requests. You and your guests will be housed together. Note that the majority of rooms available are double rooms (two twin-sized beds per room). Limited singles are available but not guaranteed; due to space limitations, if you do not select a classmate, one may be assigned to share a room with you. Beds cannot be held for classmates or guests that are not registered.

What are the rooming arrangements for children?

Parents/guardians have the option to bring sleeping bags and air mattresses for use on the floor of their room for children. If a bed is requested for a child, the overnight fee is the same as the adult fee. If you have questions about rooming arrangements for children, contact our registration staff  directly.

When will I find out where I am staying?

You will receive your room assignment when you arrive on campus to check-in.

Are dormitory bathrooms single sex or co-ed?

Most residential bathrooms are marked as either single sex or co-ed during the year. During Reunion I, alumnae and their guests should comply with the designation made by students, as they will still be occupying the residence halls. During Reunion II, classes are free to designate bathrooms by gender if they wish.

I have physical/medical needs. Will I be able to stay in a dormitory?

In almost all cases, yes. Please indicate your physical/medical needs on the registration form, and the registration staff will work with you to determine a suitable rooming assignment.

MEALS

Why am I only able to purchase a package instead of individual meals?

Increased connection opportunities
Because all meals are included, alums will have more opportunities to connect while attending meals together in the Community Center Dining Commons, where you will also have a sense of the student experience.

Improved food and meal choices
Classes will now be able to enjoy hot breakfasts and a larger variety of food options, which include more accommodations for dietary needs and preferences in the Community Center Dining Commons.

If I do not participate in all the meals, do I pay less to attend?

Packages cannot be prorated. Please note that packages do not include on-campus housing. To reserve on-campus housing, please make your selections on the housing page.

Where do we eat our meals?

All meals will be served in the campus Dining Commons in the Community Center. Learn more about campus dining. Menus with specific ingredient lists will be posted closer to Reunion.

How do I get admitted for meals?

In order to be admitted to meals you need to have your reunion badge with you.

Will my class be eating together?

With the opening of the Dining Commons most meals will be served community style to allow for alums from other classes to engage with each other. At Reunion, for your Saturday night dinner, your class will be seated as a group in a private space.

What if I have a food allergy or other dietary needs?

Mount Holyoke is committed to providing food options that meet the needs of our diverse constituents. See more about dining here. Menus with specific ingredient lists will be posted closer to Reunion.  Staff will need to know in advance of any dietary needs and food allergies.  Please specify your dietary needs and food allergies when you register for reunion.

L’Chaim (Kosher) food will be available for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights until 8:30 p.m.

Can I have my classmate pick up my dorm room key for me since I will be arriving late?

Due to heightened security on campus there has been a change in how dorm keys are delivered and returned.
