Brain Injury Survivor Carole Starr ’89

Carole Starr ’89, MS, cofounder and cofacilitator of Brain Injury Voices, gave a moving presentation during a Back-to-Class session at Reunion 2014. In 1999, Starr sustained a brain injury that transformed her life from an “active professional” to a “professional patient,” learning how to adjust to a life forever changed.
