Accommodations

All Symposium activities in Athens, including registration, will take place at the majestic Royal Olympic Hotel, where a number of rooms have been reserved for Mount Holyoke alumnae and guests.

The organizing committee has also blocked rooms at three additional hotels to offer options at different price levels, all located in the center of Athens and easily reachable by foot or by public transportation.

Most of these rooms can accommodate two people, allowing for sharing of the cost. Please note that if you are planning to share, you should make this very clear at the time of booking to ensure that there are two beds and two names registered. The sharing of a room is entirely up to you and would need to be coordinated by you. Hotel rooms must be directly reserved by you (or your roommate) either with the hotel or through the travel agency that we are working with. The reservation must be guaranteed by a credit card.

All hotel offerings include breakfast and free wi-fi.

A new accommodation tax is now charged per night. This is in addition to the hotel rates listed below, and the rate differs across hotels (2–4 euros/room/night). It will need to be paid separately at each hotel.

Looking for a roommate? Contact Dimitra China ’16 by email. Please mark your email request: “Looking for a roommate.” Dimitra will put you in touch with other alums looking for a roommate; however, we cannot guarantee that there will always be someone. You may also post a message to our Mount Holyoke European Alumnae Facebook Group.
