Preliminary Program
The Symposium will be based in Athens, at the majestic Royal Olympic Hotel. The Symposium will open on Friday evening with an engaging conversation, followed by a celebratory gala dinner at the restaurant that offers a unique view of some of the most known monuments in Athens. The Symposium will include a day trip on Saturday to discover “Fougaro,” a historic industrial space located in the Peloponnese, which has been transformed into a vibrant and highly prestigious cultural center by alumna Florica Kyriacopoulos ’76. This is where the panels and talks will take place. We will then head to the award-winning Semeli winery for a wine tasting experience and a light dinner. Our day will end with a bus ride back to Athens. On Sunday morning, our events including a panel discussion will take place at the Royal Olympic.
Our program aims to examine the Symposium theme “Changing Minds and Lives” from various perspectives. The final program with exact times and confirmed speakers will be listed here closer to the event.
